Captain TV to go live on April 14

Popular Tamil actor-turned-politician Vijaykanth's 24 hour news and entertainment TV channel Captain TV, which had its logo launch on January 14, will go live on April 14. The channel has already started its test run under the supervision of Vijayakanth’s brother-in-law and managing director of Captain Media L.S. Sudheesh.

Captain TV will be a complete entertainment channel with the usual mix of movie-soaps-shows between Mondays to Fridays and limited doses of news. English movies with Tamil dubbing would be telecast on Saturdays and Sundays and latest Tamil movies on weekends.
