Brahmanandam's fee greater than Trisha's!

Is it possible for a comedian like Brahmanandam in Telugu or Vadivelu in Tamil to overtake a leading heroine in terms ofremuneration? "Impossible" would be theimmediate response from almost everyone in Kollywood and Tollywood, where top heroines think it is theirright to charge one crore or more as their salary. Exceptions are everywhere and here comes one!

According to latest reports, popular Tamil-Telugu comedian Brahmanandam (whose popularity rosewith his extraordinary performances in Mozhi and Saroja) has been offered Rs. 80 lakhs for Victory Venkatesh and voluptuous beauty Trisha's Telugu flick Namo Venkatesha.

Some insiders reveal that that Trisha had earlier demanded one crore as her remuneration in this movie, but later reduced it to 60-70 lakhs, thus lagging far behind Brahmanandam!

Namo Venkatesa, being directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, is said to be a complete family entertainer featuring Venkatesh in the role of a ventriloquist.

Gopi Mohan is the man behind the story, script and dialogues. Director Sreenu Vaitla himself wields the camera. Trisha is pairing up with Venkatesh for second time after the tremendous success of their Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule (2007).
