Black Stallion goes to Tamil and Telugu
Noted Malayalam director duo Pramod-Pappan's recent flick Black Stallion, which marked the Malayalam debut of South India's glamour queen Namitha, is being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu as Nil Gavani Ennai Kadhali and Ithoru Managaalu respectively.
Notably, the producers of the Malayalam version paid more than 25 lakhs to rope in Namitha, making her the highest paid actress in Mollywood at that time.
Starring comedy actor-turned-hero Kalabhavan Mani and Bala in the lead roles, the film has Mani playing the role of an undisciplined police officer, while Bala appears as a photographer and Namitha as a club dancer.
Produced by Jagadheesh Chandran under the banner of Kichu films, the Tamil-Telugu versions will grace screens soon.
