Bhavana-Puneeth's Jackie launched

Popular South Indian actress Bhavana's debut Kannada film Jackie opposite Kannada power star Puneeth Rajkumar was launched in Kanteerava Studios, Bangalore.

Actor V. Ravichandran sounded the clapboard in the presence of many noted film personalities, including S. Narayan, M.S. Rajashekhar, Prakash, Rockline Venkatesh, Aindrita Ray, Guru Kiran and Gurudutt. The crew has chalked out a 95-day shooting schedule in Bangalore, Mysore and Gujarat.

Jackie is directed by Suri and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar under Dr. Rajkumar's family banner Poornima Enterprises; Bhavana plays a simple and innocent girl named Lakshmi, quite similar to her role in Veyyil (Tamil).

Jackie is Puneeth’s pet name in the film. He will be playing a rough guy who solves problems for all. The film has five songs penned by Yogaraj Bhat and Jayanth Kaykini. Harikrishna is composing the music and Satya Hegde is the cameraman.
