Director Bagyaraj took stage during the audio launch of Sathura Adi 3500, a small budget film featuring a lot of debutant actors. Talking about how cinema is moving towards a digital pace with increasing competition, he suggested that theaters should provide space for small movies to reach the audiences.

“Just because a theater is huge doesn’t mean they have to support and have only big star movies running in them. There are so many incidents when no star releases happen and many shows may run with less crowd. Providing compulsory shows for films, not the morning shows but afternoon and evening shows will help them reach the audience. It needs time for word of mouth to make such films popular,” said Bagyaraj.
