Bellamkonda acquires Naadodigal rights
Noted Telugu producer Bellamkonda Suresh has acquired the rights of director Samuthirakkani's much-acclaimed Tamil film Naadodigal (also spelt Nadodigal), starring Sasikumar (Subramaniapuram fame), Abhinaya, Vijay, Ananya and Ganja Karuppu in the lead roles.
Released on June 26, Naadodigal has already reached the top rung in the box office ladder across Tamil Nadu. Bellamkonda Suresh is planning for a mass hero in the Telugu remake.
The film revolves around three close friends (Sasikumar), Chandru (Vijay) and Pandi (Bharani), who are willing to kill and even get killed for their friendship. The true test of their friendship comes when Karuna's friend Saravanan seeks their help to marry Prabha (Shanthitheva), the girl he loves. Moved by his emotions, Karuna, Chandru and Pandi decides to unite the lovers.
Battling the high-profile parents of the couple, they succeed in their venture, but end up paying a very high price for it. Unaffected by the losses in their personal lives, the three musketeers are happy to have done a good deed. But soon, they realize that all their efforts have been in vain and they decide to recoup their personal losses. What did the friends lose? Why did their efforts go in vain?
