Azhagar Malai photo gallery at Galatta

Azhagar Malai is the next venture produced by Sangili Murugan, with Madurai as the backdrop. Music for the film is scored by 'Isaignani' Ilayaraja, and the legendary composer is teaming up with Sangili Murugan after almost 10 years!

Shooting for this film, directed by S.P. Rajkumar (who had earlier directed Pon Manam), is going on at Madurai, Theni and adjoining areas. The audio launch happened a few weeks back and 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan was the chief guest.

Incidentally, Ilayaraja has also consented to be a part of a song. RK, who was the hero of Ellam Avan Seyal, plays the lead role; Bhanu, who acted in Thamirabharani, plays his love interest.
