Ayan hits the box-office bull's-eye!
This is indeed sweet news after all the recession-related dampening reality news scoops. Yes, Ayan, the latest action film starring Suriya and Tamannaah has made it really big at the box office. This news comes to Galatta.com from excited theatre owners and distributors whoare enjoying a good share of the success pie. Kudos to the team comprising director K.V. Anand for his smart screenplay and uncomplicated storyline, Suriya for his daredevil action, Tamannaah for her electrifying presence, stunt director Kanal Kannan for his astonishing stunts and for blending the state-of-the-art techniques with the South African style, music director Harris Jayaraj for his super good tunes and the audiences who patronized this great film.
What is so special in Ayan? Indeed, the first attraction is its pace Next is the Sun Pictures marketing tactics; the trailers show Suriya jumping from roof tops, tossing and smashing glass window panes, chasing and thrashing menacing-looking villains all the way. Song scenes show him romancing with Tamannaah in the midst of sand dunes and in lovely-looking sets and costumes. The general public who saw the trailers started thinking something is worth watching in the film. Moreover, the Keona Mitra number topped the curiosity list and drew item-lovers to theatres. Above all, Prabhu's role, kept under wraps till the film's release, heightened the expectations regarding Ayan. Till the first batch of audiences got to watch the movie, everybody was clueless as to what was packaged in the film. Master cinematographer K.V. Anand has indeed worked at all angles, as an efficient director, a story-teller and a lensman who has the knack to present a contemporary script and the star cast in the best way. Those who saw the film spread its glory through their authentic word-of-mouth praises which naturally draws more and more crowds to theatres.
Congratulations Ayan team!
