Aswathy in Arjun's Mei Kavu

Just a day after we reported that Malayalam actress Aswathy Ashok (of director Fazil's latest Moz & Cat fame) may be one of the two heroines in Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's upcoming Alexander the Great, we now hear that the 18-year-old actress will be the heroine in Tamil 'action king' Arjun's Mei Kavu,army officer-turned-director Major Ravi’s new action adventure.

Mei Kavu will be produced by ITA Films. Ravi Varman is the cinematographer, while Sundar C. Babu is the music director. The film will be shot in Thailand. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, Alexander the Great, produced by V.B.K. Menon under the banner of Anugraha Cine arts, will be a comical racy entertainer in which Mohanlal will play Alexander, a man with diverse qualities. The movie will be shot at Mumbai and Dubai. Mohanlal has allotted nearly 40 days to complete his portions. The shooting, which was earlier to start on May 15, has now been postponed to May 20.
