Asin-Vijay back in Bodyguard remake?

Vijay and Asin, the famous duo of Kollywood, will reportedly team up again for an upcoming Tamil film, said to be the remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara. Siddique, who directed the original, will direct the Tamil version also. Bodyguard is based on a plot with plenty of comedy and action.

The duo was earlier seen in Pokkiri and Sivakasi, which did wonders at the box office. Asin has migrated to Bollywood and found success with her debut flick, the Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini. But her second venture London Dreams with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn did not recreate the same box office success. Rumours say the actress has few offers in hand.

Vijay, who has seen success with Vettaikaaran, is busy with his 50th film Sura. It is said he was keen that Asin star in Sura, but Tamannaah bagged the role. So will his 51st film bring Asin back to Kollywood? We will have to wait and watch.
