Arya’s Padithurai progressing

Tamil actor Arya’s maiden production venture Padithurai is progressing briskly. The film is an adaptation of renowned Tamil novel ‘Ettu Thikkum Madhayaanai’ by Nanjil Nadan. Suga, an former assistant of Bala, is directing the film.

The latest we hear is that the director is introducing an 85 year old woman Kuppammal from Courtallam in a prominent role. Interestingly, the lady has never seen a movie in her lifetime. Padithurai is the first production venture of Arya under his newly launched banner 'The Show People'.
