Aravind: Rise of another Chennai 600 028 star

It looks like Chennai 600 028 has given a string of promising heroes to Kollywood and the impact of the film will be everlasting. After Chennai 600 028 made them famous, the journey to a promising career in Kollywood has started for most of these “Sharks”. Kollywood witnessed the transformation of Jai and Mirchi Shiva into the next-gen Kollywood heroes; now it will see yet another Chennai 600 028 star’s rise to that position. Handsome and suave Arvind, who played the wicket keeper of Sharks team in Chennai 600 028, is making big strides in this industry slowly. He has bagged the lead role of the upcoming film Thanthiran. Arvind is already playing a lead role in Panchathanthiram, which also stars Nasser.

In Thanthiran, he pairs up with the beautiful and sexy model-actress Shwetha Menon, who is rocking Bollywood these days. She started her career with the Malayalam film Anaswaram, then arrived in Bollywood with just a cameo (a song) in Ishq, starring Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgan.  Then she acted in many Bollywood films such as Corporate, Sandwich, etc. Her recent Malayalam film Akashagopuram was a super hit.

Thanthiran is thriller about a young couple whose lives are wrecked by a wicked sorcerer. K.J. Bose has written the story and screenplay and also dons the role of the director. Music is by V. Dashi. The supporting cast includes Siddiq, Vinayagam and Aishwarya.

Arvind is also acting in A Aa E Ee (Navdeep and Monica) and Rasikkum Seemane (Srikanth and Navya Nair). He has also acted in various television serials and made brief appearances in Unakkum Enakkum and Unnale Unnale, before Chennai 600 028 made him famous. Apart from Kollywood projects, he has also done a couple of Malayalam films as a hero.
