Angadi Theru: An eye opener!

Angadi Theru celebrates the triumph of human spirit over overwhelming odds, and the kindling of hope in the midst of pain and misery. The film takes us through the agonizing travails of a bunch of sales boys and sales girls working in a Chennai showroom.

Now the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) is all set to launch a movement to take up the problems faced by these workers. "Though our earlier attempts to form a union for salespersons working in the department stores in T. Nagar failed, the movie has brought the issue to the fore again. We will launch a movement to take up their issue," said CITU state secretary T.A. Latha.
