Aishwarya turns down Dance Premier League
Former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai, who was supposed to feature on Sony TV’s reality show "Dance Premier League", turned down the offer due to her busy schedules on films and not on account of remuneration, her publicist said on Tuesday.
A recent news story aired by a channel, suggested that Aishwarya was replaced by Madhuri Dixit for the reality shows, citing money as an issue. Aishwarya's publicist said in a press statement that the report was total fiction. The show is now being judged by Rani Mukerji along with dance guru Shiamak Davar.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya is currently busy shooting with Sanjay Leela’s Guzaarish and ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam's big budget bilingual tentatively titled Raavan/ Ashokavanam, being simultaneously made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. According to sources, she plays the role of Rama's wife Sita in this flick, a modernized epic of the Ramayana.
