Aishwarya represents Indian cinema at the Cannes!
Aishwarya Rai is currently the face of Indian cinema at the Cannes International Film Festival. She was present from the opening day, seen at the premieres of several films and the cynosure of all eyes.
She was accompanied by her husband Abhishek Bachchan, and the actress looked totally stunning, as usual. Ms. Rai has been a regular at the Cannes every year; this year she stood out with her exceptional designer wear outfits!
The moment she stepped out of her car, dazzling lights greeted the Bachchan couple as they walked the red carpet and entered the Theatre Grand Lumiere.
Aishwarya is the first Indian actress to become a part of prestigious Cannes jury in 2003 and is one of the international faces of cosmetic giant L'Oreal.
The actress is expected to return soon and complete the remaining portions of Ravan for which she is currently shooting. Ravan is directed by Mani Ratnam and also stars Abhishek Bachchan with A.R. Rahman providing music.
