Actresses groped at public functions

When they choose to grace public functions without adequate security, actresses are soft targets for miscreants, gropers and eveteasers. Recently, Navya Nair was pinched in her waist on her way to inaugurate a jewellery showroom in Mangalore. Last month, Sneha was at the receiving end of the 'pinch' act at Trichy. Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu could do nothing when an overzealous fan planted a kiss on her cheek during one of her promotional events in Delhi. Upcoming actress Maushmi Udeshi slapped a man who had the cheek to barge through the police cordon during a Tamil film shoot in Madurai. There are many more in the list...

The million dollar question is -- Why do actresses neglect to check that security is adequate before attending such functions? Possibly they are lured by the money offered (reportedly in the range of 10 lakhs) for just a few hours spent.
