An animal rights outfit has demanded action against the Baahubali 2 team for illegally using an elephant for shooting without prior permission. According to their complaint, the team has used jumbo Chirackal Kalidasan to capture the movements for their graphical representation. The elephant was forced to stand before high beam lights for four hours, the complainant claimed. A letter has also been sent to the PMO to take action.
