Aadhavan: Shooting starts

The shooting of Aadhavan began today and promos announcing the same are seen in most parts of the city. Keeping up with the trend of attractive promos, Aadhavan’s think-tank have also come up with a beautiful promo. With Suriya in the foreground and the rising sun right behind his head, the promo looks very attractive and the lighting effect is a delight for those interested in photography.

Aadhavan is Udhaynidhi Stalin’s (Red Giant Movies) second film; Vijay-starrer Kuruvi was his first production in Kollywood. The “super hit machine” K.S. Ravikumar directs this Suriya starrer. Nayantara, who had a supporting role in Ghajini (Suriya), will pair with Suriya for the first time. Harris Jayraj, who made Suriya’s Vaaranam Aayiram a musical bonanza, has composed the music of Aadhavan. Now, this has raised public expectations about the film’s music, as Vaaranam Aayiram had music that was unique and excellent; in fact, the film’s audio is still doing good business in the market!

Aadhavan also stars Ramesh Kanna and Vadivelu – the same actors who starred alongside Suriya (and Vijay) in the blockbuster Friends – in supporting roles. This comes as good news to all those who enjoyed their “tumultuous camaraderie” in Friends.

Well, Aadhavan has got it all – handsome hero, beautiful heroine, excellent supporting cast, superb music director! With successful director K.S. Ravikumar at the helm, one can be sure a big hit is on the anvil. Besides, the film has one of the biggest banners – Red Giant Movies – to back it up!
