Two colours of Pesu
With half a dozen movies releasing almost every week, it is necessary for debut directors to differentiate their movies in some manner to capture audience attention. Director Siril, who is making a movie titled Pesu, is trying something different with the colour tones of the movie. Siril, who has worked with directors Durai, Kalaprabhu and Kathir, has imbibed lots from them and is adding a dash of his own style to Pesu.
“The movie is a romance that begins in winter and then moves on to spring. Hence the idea came to me to use just two cololurs in the background. The colours will be reflective of the mood of the movie and will just blend in. It’s something new. We are trying something different, and I’m sure the audience will appreciate it. Moreover, the movie has fewer dialogues and more drama. So we wanted every element in a scene to say something,” explains Siril. The movie is produced by Super Spring Entertainment and stars debutants J. Vignesh and Vipa (who has acted in Leelai). Yuvanshankar Raja has scored the music.
