Thamarai: I am not writing dialogues for Mani Ratnam
There were widespread rumours that ace director Mani Ratnam has approached popular lyricist Thamarai to write dialogues for his next film after Raavana. It is also said that the director met the lyricist with a caveat that he will use the dialogues only if he is thoroughly convinced.
But lyricist Thamarai has completely denied the reports! “I don’t want to diversify at this point of time. My job is to write lyrics and I am content as a poet. I just don’t want to throw away the position I have achieved after putting in much time and hard work,” Thamarai clarified.
Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam is currently busy wrapping up his much-awaited Tamil-Hindi bilingual Raavana/ Raavan which is expected to grace theatres in July.
