Sonia debuts in Tamil
Curly-haired beauty Sonia, who shot to fame with Telugu super hit Happy Days (2007) and Vinayakudu (2008), is all set to make her debut in Tamil in the Tamil remake of Happy Days. It is heard that she has been offered a role in another Tamil film to be directed by Linguswamy.
The Tamil remake of Happy Days is tentatively titled Inidhu Inidhu, being directed by noted cinematographer K.V. Guhan under the banner of actor Prakashraj's Duet Films. Mickey J. Meyer, who set music for the original, has composed the music. Happy Days directed by Sekhar Kammula, was remade in Kannada as Jolly Days last year.
Set in a typical engineering college, Happy Days revolves around the individual and collective stories of four men and women. The main plot is their respective relationships. Though the film starred only newcomers in the lead roles, the response was very positive and the film was a blockbuster in India and the US. It collected 18 crores in 50 days.
