Sonia-Selvaraghavan granted divorce
The Family Welfare Court in Chennai granted divorce to Selvaraghavan Sonia Agarwal on Friday. Justice Ramalingam, who heard the case granted the divorce.
One of Kollywood's hottest couples at one time, noted Tamil director Selvaraghavan and his actress-wife Sonia Agarwal, who tied the knot in December 2006, filed for divorce by mutual consent in August 2009. Since the divorce was sought by both parties, the process was smooth and brief.
Meanwhile, Sonia Agarwal is reportedly planning for her big screen re-entry through a Malayalam film and Selvaraghavan is busy with his upcoming film reportedly titled Sindubad, with Vikram and Swati (of Subramaniapuram fame).
