Shirin creating waves in Sandalwood

Shirin has acted in a handful of Tamil films, but is yet to get due recognition. But it looks like she is all set to take Sandalwood by storm. Her film Yogi has received a good response and she is geared up for her next Kannada film.

She was on a promotion spree for Yogi when she was offered AK 56 directed by Om Prakash. The role was earlier offered to Nikita Thukral who opted out film as she was required to do a kissing scene, that too with a newcomer! But Shirin, being the bindaas girl (remember her Tamil debut was Thulluvatho Ilamai where she had kissed on screen), had no qualms about kissing on screen as she felt that it was integral to the story. Now, she is part of the film and hopefully, success is within her kissing distance!
