Shaam turns producer

Popular chocolate hero Shaam is stepping into film producion. He will reportedly produce director Thirumalai's Tamil film Agam Puram/ Agampuram, in which Shaam himself is the hero with Meenakshi as heroine. The film will be dubbed in Telugu as Gang War. Both versions will grace screens in March.

"It’s almost a decade since I entered the industry and it’s high time I move ahead from being just an actor. The original producer was not comfortable with our budget, so he backed out of the project and we parted as friends. Most importantly, I was quite impressed with director Tirumalai’s sincerity and hard work, which induced me to produce the film." the actor said in an interview.

After from Agam Puram, Shaam is currently busy with three movies Thillalangadi, Sivamayam (Tamil) and Koodaram (Malayalam).
