Sarathkumar's Mollywood touch

Despite the influx of youngsters, Sarathkumar continues to maintain his unique slot at the top. Former Mr. Madras, his rugged physique has led to him being referred to as the Sylvester Stallone of Tamil filmdom. Sarathkumar is currently busy with his Tamil film Vidiyal, which is expected to grace theatres soon. The movie depicts various happenings from the pre-independence era till date. Sarathkumar takes on three roles in the movie. Shruthi of Indra Vizha fame and Sneha are the heroines.

Meanwhile Sarathkumar's recent Malayalam epic film Pazhassi Raja with Mammootty has fetched him immense popularity in Kerala. The actor has now signed three more Malayalam films: Christian Brothers with Mohanlal, Oridathaoru Postman with Kunchacko Boban and Metro (as a solo lead) directed by debutant Vyasan.
