S.P. Charan's Aaranya Kaandam progressing

Noted for discovering new and talented directors and converting their talent into big hits, S.P. Charan has roped in yet another new director, Thiagarajan Kumararaja for his sixth production venture Aaranya Kaandam.

The film also introduces Bollywood’s renowned actor Jackie Shroff to Tamil film industry. The film also stars Ravi Krishna and Sampath in the lead. Debutant Yasmin Ponnappa plays the female lead. Charan’s Capital Film Works has been associated with trend setting films so far, which raises everyone’s expectations about Aaranya Kaandam. Also, the film’s promos, which look like pages straight out of famous comic books like Dick Tracy and The Shadow, have kindled everyone’s curiosity.

Aaranya Kaandam’s music will be composed by his ever-reliable music composer Yuvanshankar Raja. P.S. Vinod is the cinematographer.
