Resul Pookutty writes LLB exams

Oscar winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, who is rendering sound for Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One and a few international projects including Last Vision, wrote his LLB exams a few days ago at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Resul Pookutty discontinued his studies midway at Government Law College 20 years ago. He could not appear for three papers of the final year due to his mother's ill health in 1991. Later, he joined the Film and Television Institute (FTII), Pune against his parents' wishes.

Resul had been sending requests to the University for a long time for continuing his Law course, but nothing happened. But when the University felicitated him for winning the prestigious Oscar, he utilized the situation and approached the Vice Chancellor, who granted his request.

Talking about his exams, he said that it was his father's last desire to see him as a lawyer.
