Ramya Raju aka Ragini unplugged

Ramya Raju aka Ragini is definitely on a high. After her Pongal release Naanayam, the pretty lass is all excited and has been quoted saying, “Usually, only films of big stars get released during the festival season. Having a release during Pongal is a dream come true for me.”

Well, this Malaysian beauty made her Kollywood debut with director-actor Sundar C. in Sanda, later she acted with Sundar C. again in Thee. The lady's original name is Ramya Raju, but since there are many actresses named Ramya, she ended up randomly picking the name Ragini.

In Naanayam, the actress dons the role of a press reporter Nandini, The actress, who is also a communication graduate, is elated about the positive reviews she has been getting for her performance in Naanayam. Interestingly, Ramya, who is a self-confessed fitness freak, has done some fight sequences in the movie too. Additionally, the actress has reverted back to her original name Ramya Raju.
