Rajni’s song remixed for Simbu

Agreeing with Simbu’s suggestion to increase Silambattam’s appeal by adding a remixed song to it, Yuvanshankar Raja has remixed Rajni’s yesteryear hit number ‘Vachikkava’ from Nallavanukku Nallavan. The song, which featured Rajni in a special suit fitted with small light bulbs, was a rage amongst the audience then. It is said that Simbu too adorns the same type of suit in this remixed version!

Insiders say that this song, which was shot for 6 days together, will rock Kollywood just the way its original had done years ago. Apart from the remixed tune and Simbu’s attractive light bulb-fitted suit, the song will be noted for the dance steps; the actors had to work hard to get the demanding dance steps correct, and they gave a beautiful performance.

Silambattam stars two beautiful ladies, Sneha and Sana Khan alongside Silambarasan. Ace cinematographer Saravanan directs the film.

A beautiful coincidence: The song ‘Vachikkava’ was composed by Ilayaraja and now, it has been remixed by his son Yuvanshankar Raja!
