Prithviraj plays school teacher

For the first time in his career, reigning Malayalam-Tamil actor Prithviraj will be seen as a school teacher in his forthcoming Malayalam film Manikya Kallu, which is about the relationship between a teacher and a student.

His role is of Vinaya Chandran, who has been transferred to a village school. The search is on for a new heroine. Manikya Kallu is directed by M. Mohanan and produced by Meenakshi Movies.

The supporting cast includes Innocent, Mukesh, Jagathy, Kottayam Nazeer, Jagadeesh, Salim Kumar and K.P.A.C. Lalitha. Music is composed by M. Jayachandran. More details are awaited.
