Pasanga team on a high!
Pasanga has proved yet again that it is content that matters and any film, if it is delivered right, will indeed be accepted by the audience -- even if made on a shoe-string budget.
The audience has given a thumbs up and the film has successfully completed 50 days. The film featuring youngsters does not have any usual commercial elements attached to it, and director Pandiaraj is a happy man now.
When the film hit the screens initially there wasn't much expectation, but the reviews and people's reaction were positive. The entire team of Pasanga has been congratulated by many in the industry, and the film is now used as a case study for budding directors. Director Shankar, who is an expert and appreciates technical brilliance, congratulated director Pandiaraj.
Film critics believe that the film may get a National award, and may also garner awards at international film festivals. Director Pandiaraj has earlier worked under Cheran, Thangar Bachan and Simbudevan. The director will soon start working on his next film which is a village love story, and is ready with the script.
