Moser Baer enters Malayalam films

The world's second largest home entertainment company, Moser Baer Entertainment, is all set to foray into Malayalam for content creation, including film production. Moser Baer has decided to produce and distribute two Malayalam films back-to-back: Kaana Kanmani and Loudspeaker.

Kaana Kanmani is the second venture by the Veruthe Oru Bharya team, consisting of director Akku Akbar, actor Jayaram and scriptwriter K. Gireeshkumar. The only difference is that Padmapriya will replace Gopika, who was part of the original team. Kaana Kanmani will start rolling from June 22 in Peerumedu and is slated for a Ramzan release.

Next in the pipeline for Moser Baer is Jayaraj’s Loudspeaker, featuring Mammootty and Gracy Singh in the lead roles. 18 years after the super hit musical entertainer Johnny Walker (1992), director Jayaraj and superstar Mammootty team up again in Loudspeaker, based on a script written by scenarist-director Renjith. Loudspeaker will be Mammootty’s Christmas release.
