Manoj Soni in Unnai Pol Oruvan

Working with 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is a dream for many. No one can hold back their excitement when they get a chance to work with the legend. Cinematograher Manoj Soni was taken by surprise when he got an offer to work for Unnai Pol Oruvan, starring Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Ganesh Venkatraman. It is a remake of the Hindi film A Wednesday.

Manoj is a self-confessed fan of Kamal and has seen all his films. The ace cameraman has worked in several Bollywood films alongside most big stars. But he considers working with Kamal Haasan as a unique experience.

Manoj went on to say that he will never forget the most memorable day of his life when he actually got a call from Kamal's office. Soni immediately flew down to Chennai and met director Chakri and Kamal Haasan.

Unnai Pol Oruvan is the first full-length feature film to be shot in RED One camera format. Manoj Soni hopes to get more projects in Tamil, as Kollywood is considered the best place for technicians to learn the tricks of the trade!
