Maaja Velu audio release on March 14

After the highly successful Malai Malai, actor Arun Vijay is back in the race with his forthcoming Maanja Velu. Directed by A. Venkatesh, Malai Malai is a neatly packaged commercial movie that worked wonders with the audience. Now the same crew is back in action, spinning Maanja Velu.

The audio launch of Maanja Velu is planned in a big way at Sathyam Cinemas on March 14 (Sunday). Many top directors and celebrities are expected to grace the event;  the songs and trailers will be screened at the launch.

Maanja Velu is also an out-and-out action entertainer. 'Maanja' is the mixture of glass powder and other ingredients coated on the string of a kite. It is used to cut the strings of rival kites, but if handled wrongly, it can cut you. This forms the basic plot of the film. Sources say that the film will have a never-seen-before action sequences which will be a treat for the action lovers.

Maanja Velu is shot in the beautiful locales of Bangkok, Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, Pondicherry and Palani. Almost after 6 years, the yesteryear heartthrob of Kollywood Karthik is making a re-entry through Maanja Velu. Karthik play the role of Arun Vijay's brother in the film. Actor Prabhu also plays a prominent role in the film.

Maanja Velu is expected to be a complete package with action, comedy, love and sentiments. The film will grace screens on April 14.
