Kiran in Naalai Namadhe

Kiran’s role in Naalai Namadhe has been in the news. Kiran's role of a kind-hearted sex worker who cares for orphans in her neighbourhood has given her ample scope to perform and display her acting skills and it does not border on sleaze.

In Naalai Namadhe, the actress looks gorgeous with a trim figure. Throughout the film she dons very little makeup except for the gaudy lipstick that reminds the viewers of Kareena Kapoor of Chameli or Tabu of Chandni Bar. It is expected that Naalai Namadhe will also get the same appreciation that Chameli and Chandni Bar enjoyed.

Kiran, who recently expressed her exasperation over doing routine glam doll roles, says that this role offered her a chance to explore her acting skills while she attempted to portray the poignancy in the protagonist’s life, her vulnerability and strengths. She is quite confident that this film will do well and win her more accolades and film offers. Well, she has bagged quite a lot already! She is starring in Sundar C.’s Vaada and doing prominent roles in Jaggubhai and Rajathi Raja.

Apart from Kiran, one more reason for you all to watch Naalai Namadhe is that it is directed by Vinayan, who directed Kasi, En Mana Vaanil and Arputha Theevu.
