A.R. Gandhi Krishna meets the Press: Photos Exclusive on Galatta

Aanandha Thaandavam, directed by A.R. Gandhi Krishna, is based on the novel 'Pirivom Sandhippom' by late writer Sujatha. The film has newcomer Siddharth Venugopal, Tamannaah and Rukmini in lead roles.

The story is about a young man who falls in love with a girl. As time passes, he gets a job in the US and he loses touch with his lover and even agrees to get engaged to another girl. But suddenly one day he gets an opportunity to meet his ex-lover. Will the two get united at all; forms the remaining part of the story.

According to insiders, the story has been handled without any hitches in narration and is a treat to watch!

As the movie gets ready for its D-Day, the entire team, that worked tirelessly behind this venture met the press in Chennai. G.V. Prakash has scored the music and said that he would like to dedicate this film to the late writer Sujatha and is very happy that all the songs have been picturised very well.

Every member of the team including Siddharth, Tamannaah and Rukmini spoke about their experiences while working for the film. Words of praise were heaped on Gandhi Krishna and Siddharth concluded by saying that the director had the courage and acumen to adapt the story really well.

The lyrics have been penned by Vairamuthu and art direction is by Thotta Tharani. Gandhi Krishna is fast emerging as the director who knows the pulse of generation-next! Aanandha Thaandavam releases on April 10, 2009.
