Film fraternity visits site allocated by CM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was recently felicitated for allocating land to those connected with the film and small screen in Paiyanur, near Chennai. The grand function was attended by many stars, including Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan was the guest of honour. The event was jointly organized by all the associations of the film and small screen industry, Nadigar Sangam and FEFSI, Producers’ Council.

Meanwhile, FEFSI chief V.C. Guhanathan, General Secretary G. Siva, Treasurer Shanmugam, Directors’ Council General Secretary R.K. Selvamani, the PRO Union’s Vijayamurali, Diamond Babu and a host of others belonging to the 23 associations affiliated to the film industry visited the allocated site for the first time on Wednesday.
