Bala engaged to Amritha
Popular Tamil-Malayalam actor Bala, who starred in the super hit Malayalam movies Kalabham (2006), Big B (2007), Sound of Boot (2007), SMS (2007), Ayudham (2008), Champada (2009) and Sagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded (2009), was engaged to Idea Star Singer 2007 fame Amritha Suresh at Saj Hotel in Nedumbassery.
Only relatives and close friends were invited for the function. The marriage has been fixed in September 2010. Amritha is a native of Edapally and daughter of Suresh (of Travancore Cements) and Laila.
Bala, a regular viewer of Idea Star Singer, fell in love with Amritha, when she was a contestant in Idea Star Singer 2007. She has accepted his proposal with the approval of her parents.
Bala, a Tamilian, debuted in films with Anbu (2003) followed by Kadhal Kisu Kisu (2004), Amma Appa Selvan (2004) and Kalinga (2006). He is now very active in Malayalam films.
