Asin in trouble with police?

This is quite a sensational piece of information. Asin and her family refute the rumour that she is in trouble with the police, but that does not make it any easier to solve.

In the complaint filed against Asin and her father Joseph by Sudalaivadivu at the Red Hills Police Station, Chennai, it is said that the actress had met and hired Sudalaivadivu's son Nallamuthukumar during the making of Tamil film Pokkiri. Since then, Nallamuthukumar has been in her service and he moved to Mumbai also in her service. Nallamuthukumar used to keep in regular touch with his mother by telephone, and all was well for a while.

After four years of working for Asin, Nallamuthukumar called his mother and told her that he was very unhappy in his current job. The reason? Asin's rude language and behaviour towards him. That was the last time Sudalaivadivu ever spoke to her son. When she enquired from his room mates, they were also clueless about his whereabouts. She then managed to get Asin's address from her driver, and Sudalaivadivu went to Mumbai, hoping to get some answers and find her son. However, it was ten days before she could meet Asin, for the actress was busy shooting outside Mumbai. Both Asin and her father told her that Nallamuthukumar had quit his job and they knew nothing more. They added that any money payable to him would be sent to her.

Sudalaivadivu stayed on in Mumbai, hoping to find her son. When Asin's father found that Sudalaivadivu was still in Mumbai, he came to her and informed her that Nallamuthukumar had been taken in by an underworld don. He told her to leave and promised to find Nallamuthukumar himself and send him to Chennai. Believing his words, Sudalaivadibu returned home. But Joseph has not done as promised and now, Sudalauvadivu wants the police to take action against the actress and her father since she feels they are responsible for her son's disappearance.

In response to the complaint, Asin has issued a statement stating that the moment Nallamuthukumar stopped turning up for work, she informed the police and that she knows nothing more. What happened to Nallamuthukumar? Is he caught in the clutches of the devious underworld of Mumbai? Let's hope the police hold a proper investigation and get to the bottom of this issue.
