Unnaipol Oruvan releasing on schedule

The decks have been cleared for the release of Unnaipol Oruvan as scheduled on Friday, September 18. Passing the interim order to that effect on Thursday, Judge Rajasuriya directed actor Kamal Haasan to pay half the sum that he allegedly owes to Pyramid Saimira International Ltd. by September 30. If the said amount is not paid, the order will be rovoked, ordered the judge.

Pyramid Saimira had claimed that it had paid Kamal Haasan Rs 10.90 crore as advance for the proposed Marmayogi project. It had also contended that the actor had violated the agreement in taking another project before completion of Marmayogi.
