10000 FEFSI members fast

Every FEFSI member from all the 24 sub-unions was present at the ground on Arunachalam Road at 8 a.m. to protest the killing of innocent Lankan Tamils due to the ongoing civil war in Sri Lanka.

Actor Vijay, who spoke at the protest venue, said that at his request, about 30,000 telegrams have been sent to the Prime Minister by his fans in just two days. But he requested them to increase this number to one lakh per day to urge the PM to take an action on this issue!

FEFSI Vijayan said that FEFSI will give its full support to the Lankan Tamils and would always be ready to help them – be it financial aid or medical aid.

No film or TV programme shootings were held yesterday as the entire industry had assembled here for the protest.
