Third of the six Aarupadai Kavasams is dedicated to Lord Palani Aandavar, name of Lord Murugan at Palani, third of his six shrines. Since ages, it is recommended that it be recited on Tuesdays. This kavasam protects one against diseases, evil eyes, evil deeds and thoughts of the enemy, improves education.
