First of the six Aarupadai Kavasams is dedicated to Lord Saravana Bava, name of Lord Murugan at Thiruparangundram, first of his six shrines. Since ages, it is recommended that it be recited on Mondays in front of Lord Saravana Bava. This Kavasam helps one improve his education and other scholarly endeavors, protects against fear and easing of problems.
