Prism and Pixels, the SFX studio

In Hollywood, there are studios which provide end-to-end solution for film stunts, graphics, and SFX; these studios specialize in pyro-techniques, animation, etc. All that a filmmaker has to do is walk into one of these studios with his chequebook and a storyboard (of the scene); a spectacular scene – as envisaged by the filmmaker – will be ready within the promised deadline; the filmmaker also has the option of leaving the storyboarding to specialists at the studio!

Now a similar studio�– Prism and Pixels – has been started in Kollywood by Mr. Raju. It was inaugurated recently by special effects specialist Brian Jennings, who arranged SFX in Dasavathaaram. Speaking on the occasion, Brian said, “This studio will provide high-end solutions to all SFX needs of a film. And with studios like these, the stunts and SFX of Tamil films will rise to international standards and even above.”
