Multi-talented actor Kalabhavan Mani succumbed to a liver disease that he had been battling for some time, on Sunday (06-03-2016) evening. He passed away at a Kochi hospital, at the age of 45.

Mani Raman as he was known, began his career as a mimicry artist, in Kalabhavan. He began his journey in Cinema with the 1995 movie Aksharam and had since gone on to star in over 200 movies in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He has played a comedian, character roles, negative roles and also worked as a playback singer, muusic director and also penned the story for a movie, apart from working in TV also.

Hailing from Chalakkudy, Kalabhavan Mani carved a niche for himself in movies with his unique bodylanguage and also mimicry talent. He has won quite a few awards and shall long be remembered for his outstanding talent. The passing of Kalabhavan Mani leaves a void in Mollywood.
