Popular actor Asif Ali has expressed his anguish on film reviews and audience' s mentality in the current scenario.

Talking to a leading daily he said, “People judge a film before it runs even a day. Earlier, a film had time to prove its worth but now most films are taken off after just a week and most of the time it is not given a chance to be reviewed properly. The situation is such that anyone and everyone can criticise a film now on Facebook.“

The actor also stated his disappointment in people not understanding a film properly. He added, “Criticising a film is fine, but first you have to understand what a film is about. There seem to be a lot of people who find only the faults. Condemning one film is understandable, but these people attack each and every film."

It can be recalled that Asif’s latest release Hi I'm Tony was bombarded with bad reviews on Facebook.
