Pasupathy in Malayalam film!

One of the most gifted actors of Tamil cinema today, Pasupathy was born in 1968 near Maduravoyal, Tamil Nadu, India. He worked in All India Radio Tamil from 1988 to 1993 as a news reporter.

But acting was his dream and he soon started appearing in small roles in films starting with Kuruthipunal. In 2003, he won the Filmfare award for Best Villain (Tamil) for Virumaandi. He was last seen in Rajinikanth 's Kuselan, paired opposite Meena.

Pasupathy has now signed up for a Malayalam film titled Vairam. He made his foray into Malayalam films some time back with Big B (with Mammootty in the lead).

In Vairam, he plays the poignant role of a father who is battling for justice when his only daughter is in trouble. Written by Cherian, Vairam has Suresh Gopi playing a lawyer; Mukesh and Kalabhavan Mani appear in critical roles. The film is directed by M.A. Nishad and music is composed by M. Jayachandran.
