Tollywood's most sought after actress Nayantara, who recently signed a romantic entertainer by director Dasarath with Nagarjuna in the lead, has reportedly charged a whopping Rs. 1.5 crore, which is the highest remuneration for a South Indian actress till date.

Talking to a leading newspaper, Dasarath said: "We have finalized Nayantara to play the female lead opposite Nagarjuna in my upcoming film. The film will go on the floors in May. Like my earlier films Santosham and Mr. Perfect, this one too is going to be a feel-good movie."

Asked whether the actress' marriage would affect his new film, the director further said: "All that I know is that she has signed my film and has given me dates. Even if she decides to get married, I don't think it is going to affect my film in any way."

The proposed film, produced by D. Shiva Prasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Movies, has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Other details will be announced soon.
