Explosion: Police arrest one
The police have registered a case and at least one person has been taken into custody for questioning in connection with a blast which occurred early on Monday morning at the sets of forthcoming Malayalam film Atmakatha near Idukki, damaging two sports utility vehicles (SUVs) belonging to the crew.
According to the police, the mild explosive went off by about 3 a.m. at a hotel at Kuttikanam. According to reports, a detonator was used to ignite the explosive; no one was injured. Police recovered explosive materials, usually used in quarries, from the blast site.
