Actress and TV anchor Anu Haasan, moved away from movies after marriage and settled down in the UK. Anu was last seen in Mollywood, in the movie Kunthapura. Now, we hear that she has been signed up for director Sujith S. Nair's upcoming movie Kunthapura and will play the role of a lower-middle-class mother, to debutant Pranav, in the movie Vaakku. Pranav is the son of yesteryear star Ratheesh. Vaakku revolves around the parents of lower-middle-class families and how they wish to provide the best for their children and help them onto a better life, despite their limitations. Director MA Nishad will be seen as Anu Haasan's husband, in Vaakku.
